So... Where are ya from? Rip brings a powerful mix of business acumen,
artistic insight and technical skill to bear on his imagery. His
understanding of his client's needs has been fortified by more than 10
years of experience as a Marketing Manager for numerous recognizable
brands including Bacardi, Robert Mondavi Winery and Brown Foreman (Jack Daniels.) He has done
multi-market brand development, budgeting, designed many marketing
campaigns, bought media, maintained collateral inventory, and managed
personnel. He's not all "big-businees" though. Through the launches of
numerous small companies of his own, including a startup web-technology
firm and a forward-thinking office infrastructure company, Williams has
worked magic with small budgets and boots-on-the-ground marketing.
Additionally, He has a half dozen years in the Non-Profit sector as the
C.O.O. of a well respected New Mexico based not-for-profit corporation.
Having left the daily suit-and-tie grind behind, he has been solely
focused on commercial photography for the last six years. Rip's passion
for imagery is a great asset to his clients and thier brands.
Few creative professionals have so successfully
"crossed the line" from
previous business endeavors. Since he has spent more than fifteen
years hiring other marketing professionals and buying media, Rip has an
immense understanding of each client's needs, brand
positioning/development, art direction, budgeting and licensing
requirements. He delivers ultra high-quality results: every time,
on time AND on budget. Shooting on location or in the studio since
1993, Williams has forged a
formidable control of both artificial and natural light. His artistic
vision is acute and well targeted, while still
maintaining the flexibility to adapt to the evolving requirements of his
clients.
